Dear Ethel, For several years I've owned your book and haven't read/studied it (An Introduction To Christian Writing...I'm now determined to do just that! Many thanks for this road map. With respect, Michael New York City

Dear Ethel, I was attracted to your website through the Multnomah alumni email. My husband (whom I met at MSB in my Dad's class--you may remember the tough prof.!) is also enjoying your amazingly beautiful and thought provoking poetry. Thank you! By the way, one of our daughters is (nearly) engaged to Wes Funkhouser, of Lynden, WA (I think they moved west a number of years ago from WY). Probably no relation... Anyway, thanks for sharing! You are a blessing! Love, Rachel Congdon Lidbeck

Your story and your life is an inspiration to me and to walking (or should I say skipping and dancing) through Psalm 23's valley.

We are using your book "Lord, Show Me Your Glory" for our Women's Fellowship Bible study this year (Saratoga Federated Church). I think we get to have you as a speaker in the springtime, as well. We've had our first study, prepared by one of our women who does a wonderful job and loves doing studies for us. It was really good, and fostered lots of discussion. I'm looking forward to the rest of the year's studies - and your talk!!

Ethel, I love your creatiive site. It's good to drop in and say hello. Although we don't meet at conferences any longer, your imprint on my life remains. I am still writing my passion...to tell a good story. Congratulations my friend.

Ethel, I took a walk on this lovely autumn day and listened to one of your tapes. It so spoke to me that I looked you up on-line. I am eager to see where you will be speaking next. God uses you to minister to me in the deep places of my heart.

Stopped by as I found you on a link from another Author who I get her newsletter. Those links lead me to new authors I have not read. This past year I have read authors I had not heard of and truly enjoyed the year. Good thing since I've had so many surgeries and been recovering so much. God Bless and use you

The outward appearance of your site reflects the love and sincerity that I've found on the inside of Ethel Herr. The comments in your guest book tell me that I'm not the only one that admires that freshness. Keep up the good work and I'll keep coming back to join the community that I found here. And I will continue to dip into the refreshing waters. Love, Stacey

Hi, Ethel! Lovely. Very nicely done. More complex than I expected. I love the fonts you used and how you spaced your pages. Not too busy. Easy to read. Great first page with your poem. Nice variety of photos. Great job! Love, Wanda
